Legal Aid Project is a non-governmental organization which was established in 1992 by the Uganda Law Society under the Trustee Incorporation Act and the Non-Government Organization Act.

03 _____ PROJECTSUnder the Legal Aid Project

Legal Aid Project of the Uganda Law Society (LAP-ULS) implements project activities under the strategic objectives 3 and 4 of the ULS 2023-2027 Strategic Plan: To enhance the promotion of the rule of law, good governance and the respect for human rights as well as to increase access to justice for the indigent, marginalized and vulnerable persons in Uganda.
